How do I get a library account?

If you are a student at BTH, you can activate a library account in the Student Portal to be able to borrow printed books:
Student portal> New student> Get started

At the bottom of the web page, you will find "Activate your library account".

Make sure that your registration contains your current Swedish contact information. Please update your details before you activate your account.
Once you have activated your account, click on the "Create PIN" button.
You will receive an email to your BTH email (which sometimes ends up in the trash).
Follow the instructions. Select a four-digit PIN code. Without a PIN, you can not use the account.
If you are not a BTH student, you are welcome to contact the library to activate a library account. We need to see your ID in connection with us creating your library account.
Remember that you are responsible for all loans in your library account. Contact us if you change your address or mobile number. If you are a student, you change the address yourself in the student portal.
